Meet Aspen

Hi, I am Aspen Holland, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I am so excited to be joining ETC in August 2025!

The therapeutic space I offer is rooted in curiosity and respect. Strengthened by confidentiality and evidence-based practices, it is a place where a trusting therapeutic relationship can grow—where you can feel safe enough to be honest, vulnerable, and real. Here, you’re met with deep listening and genuine presence. The goal isn’t to “fix” you, but to understand you, at your own pace, from your unique perspective. Therapy supports you in being human—not perfect—and acknowledges that life isn’t always easy.

I work with middle adolescents and adults of all ages. I’m especially passionate about supporting women through the evolving journey of womanhood. From navigating relationships, raising families, and managing career transitions, to moving through the many shifts that come with aging. I also love working with individuals who are breaking out of inherited family patterns and redefining themselves throughout life’s seasons.

My background as a school counselor has given me insight into the social, emotional, and academic challenges that adolescents (and parents) face during this stage of development, and how deeply the family system influences our emotional and relational lives. I believe in the power of community in raising healthy, whole individuals and I’m honored to be a part of that support system for the families I work with.

I prioritize a person-centered approach that fosters strong rapport and a meaningful therapeutic relationship. I help clients explore how past experiences, especially early relationships, may be shaping how they think, feel, and relate today. Together, we bring curiosity to recurring patterns, especially those that feel stuck or confusing, in order to inspire more conscious, empowered choices. I also draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients clarify values, build on strengths, and take meaningful steps toward living with greater authenticity and intention.

Together, we will pay close attention to the body’s role in healing—recognizing that it holds stories and insight alongside the mind. Sessions may include mindfulness practices to support presence and grounding, even when the past or future feel overwhelming.

In addition, I integrate nature-based practices, trusting in the healing power of the natural world and the metaphors it offers for growth, change, and resilience. When appropriate, I offer walk-and-talk therapy for clients who may feel more at ease processing emotions and exploring thoughts while moving in a natural setting.

We will work together to find the approach that best supports your unique experience, helping you navigate life’s challenges with deeper self-awareness and connection.

Here are some areas in which I especially love to support clients:

  • Adolescent social, emotional, and academic challenges/needs
  • Healing from unhealthy family systems and intergenerational patterns
  • Identity and life transitions through the seasons of womanhood
  • Supporting parents and caregivers
  • Managing generalized and social anxiety
  • Issues of self-worth, confidence, and self-compassion
  • Strengthening communication and relational skills
  • Setting clear, compassionate boundaries
  • Developing emotional regulation and distress tolerance
  • Cultivating mindfulness and present-moment awareness

Beyond the therapy room, I find joy in being with my husband and our three children. While it feels like time is flying by raising a family, together we remind one another to slow down and savor the simple stuff.

I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to help you determine if I may be a good fit to support you in your therapeutic journey. I would love to hear your story.
