Hi! I’m Baylee, and I’m glad you’re here.
I work with adolescents, teens, and young adults who struggle with self-worth and speaking up, who doubt their worth, or feel guilty for having needs. They might worry about being a burden, feel unsure how to speak up for themselves, or believe their feelings don’t matter as much as others’. Over time, this can lead to anxiety, sadness, isolation, or feeling stuck and unheard.
I became a therapist because I believe every person deserves to feel seen, valued, and supported. I believe healing happens through connection and compassion. My goal isn’t to “fix” anyone, but to walk alongside clients as they navigate the challenges that come with growing up. I hope to help clients build confidence, discover their voice, and feel empowered to create meaningful change in their lives.
In my work, I take a client-centered, collaborative approach. I focus on helping clients understand their inner experiences, gently challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and build confidence expressing their needs and feelings.
I work with adolescents, teens, and young adults, and see clients as young as 11 years old. I offer in-person individual therapy, as well as family sessions when helpful, to support healthier communication and stronger connections. I want therapy to feel like a place where clients can show up as themselves and feel more confident.
If you’re wondering whether therapy could help, either for your teen or for yourself, I’d love to connect. I offer a 15-minute consultation so we can talk, get a feel for one another, and decide together if this feels like a good fit.
Warmly,
Baylee Sanderson
