Meet Danica
Hi!
My name is Danica Holladay and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Idaho. It is my pleasure to join the Eagle Therapist Collective, June 2024!
I believe counseling is a brave step in supporting your overall wellness. It is my honor to partner with individuals as they navigate their unique therapeutic journey. I enter each session with a compassionate and client-centered approach. I believe that people are able to most fully express themselves when they are given space to be genuinely understood and validated in their experiences. It is my goal to foster comfortable and judgment-free sessions where insight and reflection support self awareness and understanding. Despite our circumstances I like to look at things from a strength based approach.
Even as a teenager I knew I wanted to work with children. This led me to earning a Bachelors in Psychology in 2012 and a Masters in School Counseling in 2014. After working for a number of years under an administration I looked up to, coupled with my love of education, I earned a Masters in Educational Leadership in 2019. Working as a school counselor for the past 10 years has been dynamic, fulfilling, and has shown me I have a passion for helping not just children, but families. As I commit more time to private practice I seek to help all members of the family unit, children, parents, guardians, the family as a whole.

- Families of all types; blended, divorced, single parent, etc.

- Education goal setting
- Coping with change and promoting growth
- Stress and anxiety management
- Behavioral challenges
When I am not working at the school or in my private practice you can find me with my husband and one year old son! We love all things outdoors and taking care of the animals on our small farm!
