Psychological assessment is a valuable resource to help your an individual understand their strengths and challenges within their cognitive, behavioral, and emotional functioning. The process allows for diagnostic clarity as well as individualized recommendations.
This assessment will not only help you or your child but it will also provide teachers, coaches, family, and other providers the information necessary to provide intervention and accommodations to allow an individual reach their potential.
At Eagle Therapist Collective, we are committed to providing high-quality psychological testing services that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Therefore, we create an assessment proposal that assesses the domains that will help answer your referral question. We offer a complimentary telehealth consultation to gather the information needed to create your proposal which will include the proposed assessment tools, fees, and testing schedule.
There are multiple domains that can be assessed during a psychological evaluation and together create a comprehensive snapshot of an individual's functioning. The domains that we choose from are cognitive, academic/achievement, attention & focus, memory & learning, social, emotional, adaptive, and personality.
Common Types of Evaluations:
- ADHD
- Autism
- Learning disorders (dyslexia)
- Giftedness
- DSM diagnoses
- Personality disorders
Both Dr. Jordan and Dr. Solfelt complete psychological assessments. As licensed psychologists they are trained to use the assessment tools to help clarify diagnoses and make recommendations. In addition, we are grateful to have Ms. Lindsey Merrill as part of the collective, who is a nationally certified school psychologist. She brings an expertise of performing school-related assessments and guides parents in the "what to do next" after the assessment is complete and can speak to questions related to navigating the educational system. Dr. Jordan completes all of our complimentary testing consultations on behalf of ETC as part of our process in creating your unique testing proposal.
Yes, at Eagle Therapist Collective, we will make recommendations for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) following psychological testing. We understand the importance of collaborating with schools and educational professionals to ensure that individuals receive the appropriate support and accommodations to address their unique needs. ETC also offers educational advocacy packages for families who have already begun to navigate the educational system. Inquire during your initial consultation.
A professional referral is NOT necessary for testing.
The length and the duration of assessments are highly variable and the fee is inclusive of the entire process, rather than hours associated. Half of the full payment amount is due at the start of the assessment process and the remaining half will be collected at the conclusion of the assessment process. The flat fee includes the background interview, review of records, test administration sessions, scoring and interpretation, report writing, written report, and a feedback session. Fees vary depending on the nature of the assessment and the referral question. We offer a complimentary consultation call to gather the information needed to create an assessment proposal for your specific needs.
ETC does not work with insurance companies or provide Superbills for psychological testing.
At ETC, we do not maintain a waiting list for psychological testing. We understand the importance of timely access to assessments and strive to accommodate our clients' needs as efficiently as possible. Our assessment team works diligently to schedule appointments in a timely manner, ensuring that individuals can receive the support and services they require without unnecessary delays. Please feel free to contact us to schedule an initial consultation or inquire about our availability.
