Meet Dr. Jordan

I’m Dr. Jennifer Jordan, Founder of Eagle Therapist Collective, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’d love to share a bit of my journey and what led me to specialize in psychological testing and assessment.

Growing up, I had a family member diagnosed with ADHD. I remember hearing stories about their “special appointments” — the games they played, the activities they did, and the snacks they got to enjoy. As a child, I was fascinated and curious about what happened in those meetings and why they seemed to make such a meaningful difference.

Over time, I began to understand that these appointments were designed to help children better understand themselves and receive support for the challenges they were experiencing. I watched how gaining insight and support positively impacted my family member’s relationships, communication, and daily life. That early experience sparked a lasting interest in psychology and the powerful impact that understanding a person’s unique strengths and challenges can have.

I studied psychology at Santa Clara University and continued my education at the California School of Professional Psychology in Fresno, where I focused my training on working with children, adolescents, parents, and families. Early in my career, I worked within school systems conducting assessments, developing recommendations for Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), facilitating social skills groups, and providing therapeutic support for students.

Since then, I have worked with Kaiser Permanente in the outpatient Child Psychiatry Department, Orion Academy — a private high school designed for students with neurodevelopmental differences including Autism Spectrum Disorder and Nonverbal Learning Disorder — and Cherry Gulch, a residential treatment center for middle-school boys.

Today, my practice is focused exclusively on psychological testing and evaluation services for children, teens, and adults. I specialize in comprehensive evaluations for concerns related to:

• Learning differences
• Executive functioning challenges
• Emotional and behavioral functioning
• Diagnostic clarification
• Academic and school-related concerns

I believe psychological testing should provide more than just a diagnosis. My goal is to help clients and families gain meaningful insight, practical recommendations, and a deeper understanding of how to best support success at home, school, work, and in relationships.

As both a psychologist and a parent, I understand how overwhelming it can feel when you are searching for answers or trying to advocate for yourself or your child. I strive to create an assessment process that feels collaborative, supportive, and genuinely helpful.
