Meet Izzy — Student-to-Student Support That Just Feels Different

Hi, I’m Izzy Lunde! I’m a graduate student in Idaho State University’s Master of Science in Counseling program, and I’m currently completing my clinical training at Eagle Therapist Collective under the supervision of Dr. Jennifer Jordan. I specialize in working with teen girls, and I love providing a supportive, relatable space for adolescents navigating the ups and downs of growing up.

Through the Student-to-Student program, I offer low-cost sessions for clients ages 12 and up. This program is designed for teens who may be dealing with everyday challenges like stress, anxiety, depression, school pressure, friendship or relationship struggles, recent breakups, or figuring out plans for the future. Because I’m a student myself, many teens find working with me more relatable, less intimidating, and easier to open up. I understand the academic, social, and emotional pressures that teens face today, and my goal is to help them feel heard, supported, and confident in themselves.

My approach is relational, warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I draw inspiration from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Humanistic Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where teens can slow down, share openly, and explore their unique internal world of thoughts and feelings. As part of my graduate training, sessions are audio-recorded (never shared outside of supervision) so I can continue developing my skills under the guidance of a licensed psychologist. This ensures that the support I offer is thoughtful, professional, and tailored to each teen’s needs.

I know how overwhelming it can feel to be a teen, and I want therapy to feel like a safe place, a space where they can be themself, process what’s going on in their life, and start building confidence, clarity, and healthier coping skills. Whether your teen is struggling with school, friendships, family challenges, or just feeling stressed and unsure, I aim to meet them exactly where they are and support them as they grow and heal.

If you’re looking for a space where your teen can feel understood, validated, and supported, I would be honored to walk alongside them in this journey.
