Healthy relationships don't happen by accident—they're built through understanding, intentional communication, and the willingness to grow together. Courtney is passionate about helping couples break free from painful patterns so they can reconnect, communicate more effectively, and create stronger, healthier relationships.
As Eagle Therapist Collective's couples specialist, Courtney works with dating, engaged, married, and long-term partners experiencing recurring conflict, communication breakdowns, trust concerns, parenting disagreements, blended family challenges, life transitions, and relationship distress. She has particular expertise working with high-conflict couples who may feel stuck in cycles of criticism, defensiveness, withdrawal, or resentment.
Courtney has completed Level 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, one of the most respected, research-based approaches to couples counseling. Using structured relationship assessments and evidence-based interventions, she helps couples better understand their patterns, strengthen friendship and emotional connection, improve conflict management, and rebuild trust. Her work is collaborative, practical, and focused on creating meaningful, lasting change.
In addition to couples therapy, Courtney is a Certified Professional Mediator and is listed on the Idaho Supreme Court's roster of Child Custody Mediators. This unique background allows her to help couples navigate difficult conversations with greater respect, clarity, and forward momentum. Whether partners are working toward repairing their relationship or making thoughtful decisions about separation, Courtney creates a balanced space where each person feels heard while keeping the focus on healthy communication and practical solutions.
Courtney also enjoys working with individuals navigating relationship transitions, divorce, co-parenting, blended family dynamics, or major life changes. Her approach is warm, thoughtful, and grounded in the belief that healthier relationships begin with greater self-awareness.
Clients often appreciate Courtney's calm presence, balanced perspective, and ability to guide difficult conversations without taking sides. Her goal is to help people move from feeling disconnected and overwhelmed toward relationships marked by greater understanding, resilience, and hope.
