Yes. Many of our therapists are in-network with insurance plans for therapy services, including individual, couples, and family therapy. Insurance participation may vary slightly by provider and service type.
Psychological testing and evaluations are private pay only and are not billed directly to insurance.
Our therapists are currently in-network with select plans including:
At this time, we do not accept Medicare or Medicaid.
Clients are responsible for understanding their individual insurance benefits, including co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, authorization requirements, and coverage limitations. Because plans vary significantly, we encourage clients to contact their insurance company directly to verify mental health benefits prior to beginning services.
If your therapist is not in-network with your insurance plan, we can provide a SuperBill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement rates vary depending on your plan.
Yes. Reduced-fee therapy options may be available through associate-level therapists, counseling interns, or providers practicing under licensed supervision. These services allow clients to access quality care at a lower fee point while clinicians continue advanced clinical training and supervision.
Availability for reduced-fee services is limited and may vary throughout the year.
Our therapists utilize evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's unique needs, goals, age, and personality. Depending on the therapist and presenting concerns, treatment may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed approaches, mindfulness-based interventions, executive functioning strategies, behavioral interventions, relational therapy, parent coaching, and other research-supported techniques. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, our therapists work collaboratively with clients to create individualized treatment plans that support meaningful and lasting change. For children and teens, therapy may also incorporate play-based interventions, games, art, and other creative activities to make therapy engaging and developmentally appropriate.
Our therapists often incorporate play-based interventions into therapy with children, but we do not currently offer traditional Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT). Children often communicate their thoughts, feelings, and experiences more naturally through play than through conversation alone. Depending on a child's age, developmental level, and treatment goals, therapists may use games, art activities, creative projects, role-playing, and other interactive interventions to build skills, strengthen emotional awareness, improve communication, and support therapeutic progress. While sessions may look playful from the outside, these activities are intentionally selected to help children work toward specific therapy goals in an engaging and developmentally appropriate way.
Therapy focuses on treatment, support, and helping individuals develop skills to navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, relationship concerns, and life transitions. Therapy typically involves ongoing appointments focused on growth, healing, and problem-solving.
Psychological testing is a structured evaluation process designed to answer specific questions about how a person thinks, learns, feels, and functions. Testing can help clarify diagnoses, identify strengths and areas of need, and provide recommendations for home, school, work, and treatment planning. Rather than ongoing treatment, testing is typically completed over several appointments and results in a comprehensive report and feedback session.
No. Most clients can schedule therapy or psychological testing services directly without a physician referral. Some insurance plans may have specific requirements, so we encourage clients to verify their benefits and referral requirements with their insurance provider prior to beginning services.
Our Client Concierge, Stefanee, can help guide you toward providers based on your concerns, preferences, insurance, scheduling needs, and goals for therapy. We know reaching out can feel overwhelming, and we are happy to help make the process easier.
Yes. All of our providers offer a brief complimentary consultation to determine whether the therapist feels like a good fit for your needs, goals, and scheduling preferences.
Most clients are able to schedule an initial consultation within 1–2 weeks depending on provider availability. Ongoing appointment availability varies based on therapist schedules, specialty areas, and preferred appointment times.
Your first appointment is an opportunity for you and your therapist to get to know one another. Your therapist will ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, goals for therapy, and any relevant background information that may help guide treatment. Together, you'll discuss what brings you in, what you hope to achieve, and whether the therapist feels like a good fit for your needs.
For children and teens, parents may participate in part of the initial appointment to provide background information and discuss concerns.
A strong therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in successful therapy. If you feel that your therapist may not be the right fit, we encourage you to share your concerns. Sometimes a conversation can help adjust the approach and improve the experience.
If a different provider may be a better match, we're happy to help connect you with another therapist within Eagle Therapist Collective whose personality, expertise, or style may better fit your needs. Our goal is to help you find the support that feels right for you.
No. Eagle Therapist Collective does not currently provide medication management services. However, our therapists and psychologists can help you determine whether a medication evaluation may be beneficial and can provide referrals to trusted primary care providers, psychiatrists, or psychiatric nurse practitioners in the community.
For many individuals, therapy alone is highly effective. For others, a combination of therapy and medication may provide the greatest benefit. If medication is being considered, we are happy to collaborate with your prescribing provider to support a coordinated approach to your care.
Whether you're ready to schedule or simply have questions, we're here to help make the process easy.
