Casey is a third-year doctoral student in Northwest Nazarene University’s Doctor of Clinical Psychology (PsyD) program and has completed his M.A. in Clinical Psychology. As part of his doctoral training, he is completing a practicum at Eagle Therapist Collective, where he provides psychological assessment services under Dr. Jordan’s supervision.
Casey approaches psychological assessment as a collaborative process designed to help individuals and families better understand themselves, including their strengths, challenges, and unique ways of experiencing the world. He believes that assessment can provide meaningful insights and practical recommendations that help clients better understand their experiences and identify ways to thrive at home, at school, at work, and in their relationships. Casey values creating an environment where clients and families feel heard, respected, and involved throughout the assessment process.
In addition to his clinical training, Casey is involved in research focused on men’s mental health. His research and clinical experiences have strengthened his interest in understanding the many factors that shape psychological well-being and functioning.
Originally from Eastern Utah, Casey was raised on a cattle ranch. This experience continues to shape his appreciation for hard work, community, and the importance of understanding people within their own context. He hopes to eventually return to his home to provide psychological assessment services to underserved communities.
